Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor. She received an Emmy Award in the year 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of FX's historical spy series The Americans. In addition, she has appeared on The Ryan Murphy limited series Feud: Bette & Joan and Hollywood. Wright was born on the 12th of July 1976 in Sunderland. The parents she adopted took care of her in the city. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student in New York City at The Barrow Group and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. When she was auditioning for roles in the theatre, she was servers. She had been scuba diving, a great hobby of hers and suffered a cardiac incident at sea, which put her in the state of coma. After six days, her wonderful family members gathered around her bedside in the hospital to say goodbye. Wright was born on July 12, 1976 within Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and was fostered by adoptive parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She studied at The Barrow Group and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute which is located which is located in New York City. Alison Fesq Haislip has been a presenter and actress on TV for Attack of the Show! The Voice, NBC's singing reality show The Voice and G4's first incarnation.
